Course Connections - MILE .1: Half marathoners will go under the bridge three times and across the tracks once. The bridge originally was constructed in 1871 and is still used daily. Trains service area chemical plants as well as move coal for a power plant in Beverly, Ohio. Trains on the bridge are halted during the race, which ends under the bridge one block up at Sixth and Market streets.
