With spring and running season just around the corner, it is a good time to review running resources that are available to you on the Web in connection with The News and Sentinel Races. The date for this year’s Half Marathon and Two Mile Race is Aug. 21.

The Web site This Web site is your first stop to find out what is going on with the August races. On it you will find links to photos, news about the races, blogs, a runner’s forum and more.

The running calendar A key part of our Web site is the calendar of upcoming races. Many races for 2010 have already been added. T there is room for all of them though, and I encourage you to add any race you may be organizing by using the calendar link.

Facebook We also have a page on Facebook. We will post important information onto the page as we get closer to the race. You can add the page by following the Facebook link.

Registration Registration for all races is now open and several runners already have signed up. You can register through Active.com at the link at left.
