PARKERSBURG - Several streets will be closed in and around downtown Parkersburg during Homecoming weekend.
The following streets/areas will be affected:
Metered parking on Second and Juliana streets will be closed from noon Friday until 9 p.m. Sunday.

Juliana Street will be among those closed for the Half Marathon
At 5 a.m. all traffic on Market Street south of Seventh Street will be blocked off.
From 5:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., the eastbound Juliana Street exit of U.S. 50 will be block to prevent traffic from entering downtown.
From 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. the eastbound lane of the Belpre Bridge will be blocked.
Beginning at 8 a.m., 24th Street at Murdoch Avenue will be closed in preparation for the parade.
All roads should reopen by 2 p.m.
Sixth Street will be closed Friday and Saturday during the car show on Market Street. Motorists are asked to avoid Ninth Street through Third Street downtown between 5 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
The entrance to Fort Boreman Park will close at 5 a.m. Saturday until 8 a.m. Sunday.
The race route of the half-marathon will close at 7:30 a.m. Saturday until the conclusion of the race.
Riverfront Park will be open from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday. The park will close during the fireworks display.
