Awards for Half Marathon

News and Sentinel Half Marathon

Trophies will be awarded to the top four overall winners in the men's and women's divisions. Trophies will also be awarded to the top five finishers in various men's and women's age groups. No award duplication in the overall and age group categories will occur.

Men and women will compete in separate divisions in the masters, wheelchair and age group categories. Identical awards will be presented to men and women.

First male and first female from Wood/Washington counties will each receive the $200 Parkersburg News and Sentinel Award.

River City Runners and Walkers Club award

$100 to the first member to finsih. Must be a member by March. 1.

Incentive Awards
All incentive awards will be paid to male and female runners.

Repeat winner: $300
Course record: $300
Master course record: $200

Clydesdale Categories
Weight class:
Male: 215 and over
Female: 155 and over

Oldest Finisher 
A trophy will be awarded to the oldest competitor in the half marathon.

*College age runners will have cash awards withheld until their NCAA status is known by the race organizers.

Note:  There will be no duplication of awards except for US money. US winners can win overall also. All others will receive the Highest money or award.   ( First W.Va. / First Wood / Washington and RCRWC  awards are separate )
