The first Parkersburg Half Marathon training run was a huge success. Over 200 people participated in the event. Washington Ave. was alive with runners and walkers. It was an amazing sight. I took several pictures and they are posted at River City Runners web site. Tom Joyce's article about the training is also posted. I am very excited about the crowd. The weather was perfect, HOT just like August. It looks like summer gang and that means running!
