In what has become an annual tradition, volunteers gathered at the finish line for the News and Sentinel Half Marathon and Two Mile Races Tuesday and gave it a new coat of paint.
Members the committee that stages the races gathered at the Sixth and Market Street end point of both races for a quick final meeting before giving the area a fresh coat of paint.
The red and white 30 x 8 finish line takes about two hours to transform from a worn crosswalk into the early Saturday morning destination point for the runners and walkers.
